No per-bathroom charge. A three bedroom home with one bathroom and a three bedroom home with three bathrooms cost exactly the same. Most Sydney cleaners add a fee for each extra bathroom, which is why a quote that looks cheaper up front often is not.

Add-ons, priced per item: carpet steam cleaning $60 per room, carpet stain treatment $30 per area, pet hair and deodorising $60, fridge or freezer interior $45, washer or dryer drum $35, bathroom mould treatment $60, grout restoration $120, external ground-floor windows $90, flyscreens $10 each, venetian or shutter detail $15 each, wheelie bin clean $15 each.

Urgent same-day bookings carry a 25% loading. After-hours, Sunday and public holiday bookings carry a 30% loading. Moving out? That is a different service with a different checklist: see end of lease and bond cleaning from $329.

Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly or Once

There is no contract. Pick a rhythm, keep the same day and time each visit, and change or pause it whenever life does. Here is what suits most Sydney homes.

TWO CLEANS, ONE HONEST DIFFERENCE

Regular or Deep: Which Clean Do You Need?

A regular clean keeps a lived-in home feeling fresh: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dusting and bins, on every visit. A deep clean resets it, adding the things that build up slowly: skirting boards, internal windows, grout, walls, ceiling fans, behind and under furniture, and the inside of the oven and fridge on request. Choose deep for a first visit, after renovations, before guests, or when it has simply been a while.

What Is Included: Regular vs Deep Clean

Compare the two lists side by side. Nothing here is an upsell on the day: the regular list runs on every regular visit and the deep clean adds the rows marked for it. Room by room detail is on our house cleaning checklist page.

Why Regular House Cleaning Matters

A clean home is about more than appearance. Routine cleaning reduces dust and allergens, keeps bathroom mould from getting established, and limits the germs that move around a busy household. It also gives you back the hours you would otherwise spend on it.

What a Professional Clean Adds

Regular tidying keeps a home liveable. A professional clean goes further: the areas nobody gets to on a Tuesday night, done in the right order with the right products, to the same list every visit. Because our cleaners sign off against a checklist, you can see what was done and tell us if something was missed.

How Often Should You Clean?

Most Sydney homes do best on a weekly or fortnightly clean, with kitchens, bathrooms and high-touch surfaces needing the most attention between visits. Bathrooms in particular benefit from a deep clean once or twice a year, which is when grout and silicone get treated before mould takes hold. Our guide to mould in Sydney homes explains why winter is the worst season for it. Just moved in? Read why to clean before you unpack.

Regular, Deep and Hourly Cleaning Explained

Regular clean: what it is for

Routine upkeep of a home that is already in reasonable shape. Every visit covers bins, floors vacuumed and mopped, cobwebs, benchtops, dusting, window ledges, switches and handles, kitchen sink and stovetop, microwave, appliance and cupboard exteriors, toilets, mirrors, basins, baths and showers. Beds made on request. Every bathroom included.

Deep clean: what it adds

Everything in the regular clean plus walls spot cleaned, skirting boards scrubbed, ceiling fans dusted, internal windows cleaned, tile and grout scrubbed in detail, behind and under furniture where accessible, and the inside of the oven and fridge on request. It is the right first visit for most homes.

Hourly: when it makes sense

When you want a specific list done rather than the whole home: the oven and the laundry, the windows before a party, a tidy-up after a renovation. $65 per hour per cleaner, two hour minimum, products included, and you set the order of work.

End of lease: a different service

Moving out of a rental needs an inspection-grade clean to the standard agents apply, with a different checklist and a Bond Back Guarantee. It is priced separately from $329. See end of lease and bond cleaning.

Ready when you are. Book the clean your home deserves.

House Cleaning Sydney: Your Questions Answered

How much does house cleaning cost in Sydney?

With Royal Glow a regular clean is fixed by bedroom count: $152 for a studio or one bedroom, $166 for two, $200 for three, $246 for four, $266 for five and $296 for six, GST included, every bathroom included. Deep cleans run from $215 to $405. Hourly is $65 per hour per cleaner with a two hour minimum.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes. Regular and deep cleans are priced by bedroom count and the online booking uses the same table, so the figure on this page is the figure at checkout. Add-ons are priced per item and shown before you confirm.

Do you charge extra for bathrooms?

No. Every bathroom, ensuite and powder room is included in the bedroom price. Most Sydney cleaners charge per extra bathroom, so check that when you compare quotes.

What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?

Regular is maintenance: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dusting and bins on every visit. Deep adds skirting boards, internal windows, grout, walls, ceiling fans, behind furniture, and the inside of the oven and fridge on request. The comparison table above lists every row.

Should my first clean be a deep clean?

Usually, yes. A deep clean resets the home and regular visits then keep it there. If the home is already well kept, start with a regular clean.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most regular clients leave a key, a lockbox code or building access. We confirm the arrangement in writing and photograph the home when we lock up.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Book once, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and change, pause or cancel at any time.

Do I need to supply products or equipment?

No. Products, cloths, vacuum and mop all come with us. If you prefer a specific product for a surface in your home, leave it out and tell us.

What add-ons can I include?

Carpet steam cleaning, stain treatment, pet hair and deodorising, fridge or freezer interior, washer or dryer drum, bathroom mould treatment, grout restoration, external ground-floor windows, flyscreens, venetian blinds and wheelie bins. Prices are listed above and added to your booking before you confirm.

How long does a clean take?

Roughly two to three hours for a studio or one bedroom, three to four for a three bedroom home, and four to six for five bedrooms, longer for a deep clean. The time is a guide; the price is fixed regardless.

Do you clean apartments and townhouses?

Yes. Bedrooms set the price, not the building type. Tell us about lift access, parking or building entry when you book.

Can I customise what gets cleaned?

Yes. Choose the hourly option and set the priorities, or add extras to a regular or deep clean. Tell us anything to leave alone, such as a home office or a nursery during nap time.

What about mould in the bathroom?

Routine mould on grout and silicone is treated as a $60 add-on. Established mould behind walls or in ceilings needs a remediation specialist. Our guide to mould in Sydney homes explains the difference.

Which areas of Sydney do you service?

Sydney metro, including the CBD, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, North Shore, Hills District and Greater Western Sydney. See our service areas.

What if something is missed?

Tell us. Every clean is signed off against the checklist, so a missed item is easy to identify, and we come back and correct it.

How do I book?

Online in a few minutes: bedrooms, clean type, add-ons and a date, with the total fixed before you confirm. Or call 1300 310 070 and we will book it for you.
